Sarah Elena Wolff is an American born ballet dancer, dance educator, meditation teacher, and multidisciplinary artist. She is an alum of Canada’s National Ballet School and was a company member with The National Ballet of Canada for nearly a decade. She’s danced principle roles with NBOC, BalletMet, Ballet Minnesota, International Classical Ballet, New York Dance Project, Fenton Ballet Theater, and Traverse City Dance Project, and has guested with Dutch National Ballet, International Classical Ballet, and Grand Rapids Ballet. Sarah is presently a freelance dancer based in NYC, where she is on faculty at Broadway Dance Center.
She is the recipient of NBOC’s Patrons’ Council Award of Merit, Canada’s National Ballet School’s Peter Dwyer Award of Excellence, The Cecchetti Council of America Ballet Award, and a NYCDA Ballet Scholarship. She is a certified Yoga Nidra meditation teacher and enjoys curating holistically nourishing classes for dancers by hybridizing pilates based modalities, breathing exercises, and guided meditation. She is a passionate and heart-centered teacher and mentor of classical ballet technique, specializing in attention to detail, artistry, and musicality while championing students of all ages. She was director of the ballet program for Company Dance Traverse for 4 years and co-rehearsal directory for New York Dance Project for one season.
Sarah is an experienced performer known for her distinct musicality and generous stage presence and continues to relish time on stage while she pursues commercial work and education in NYC.
